Ordering with Albums & Books ROES or Layout Creator/Album Manager

Mosaic albums must be checked out via the Album Manager section of the Black River Imaging web site. You may use the Layout Creator to design your pages or you may design your pages in a third party program and load them directly to the Album Manager. Both options will be explained in this guide below.

Cameo images for the Mosaic album are either 4x6 ratio or 5x5 ratio. Leave a bleed area of ¼ inch.

For your convenience we offer a swatch kit of the leather options as well as the cover designs and more. This may be purchased in the Black River Imaging software or the Albums and Books ROES.

Mosaic Album –Using Your Layouts Designed in an outside program

Setting up the album in Album Manager

Log in at www.BlackRiverImaging.com
Click on Album Manager in the Menu on the right.
Then click on Album Manager
Click Add an Event in the Menu to the left
Give the event an Event Date and Event Name
Click Add (This will take you back to the control panel)

Uploading your composites

Click Album Set Up beside the event that you have set up.
In the menu on the left click Add Images
Select the images you would like to Add and then click Send.
The pages will upload individually
Once they are all uploaded, you will review the images and click the Continue button
This will take you to the view Image section. If you have images for cameos you may notice that you will need to mark them as such before continuing.
If everything looks ok, click Return to Set up

Note: Please note that the cameo images will either be the 2x3 ratio or the square ratio, this will depend on the cover you choose when you click to add album to order. You can view the covers here http://www.blackriverimaging.com/download_files/mosaic-designs.pdf

Once the cameo image or images are under the view image section you will need to mark it as a cameo image.

Adding your cover to the order –the website will guide you through this step

Under Album Set Up click Add Album or Book. (This is below the Event Information)
Select the Album Type: Mosaic
Select the Book or Album Size
Select the cover information
Continue until the cover is added

Uploading Additional Pages
From the Album Set Up Page, Click Add Images

Click Add Files
Then select the file and Send.
Click Continue
The new pages will be posted up under View Image.

View Images

While in Album Set Up, click on view Images in the Menu to the left.
You can insert in your new images by clicking the down arrow and telling it where you want the page to go.
Then click Insert
To remove a page from the album click the red arrow that points to the left under the image. When the image is on the left it will not be in the album.

To Buy the Album

Click Buy Album or Book on the Album Set Up page for that Event
You’ll first review the pages and click Next
Review the cover information and click Approve Album
Enter your payment and shipping information and click Next
Approve the order total
Select one of three options, basically, you’re telling us whether you would like the event posted online as well as being approved
Wait until the screen tells you the order has been completed.

Posting to Approve My Album

In Album Manager click on Album Set Up
Verify the name of the event as this is what your client will search for
Enter a password if you want to allow your client to approve the order. If there is no password, they can only view it.
Click Post Album or Book
Follow the steps to post the album
The album is then posted to www.ApproveMyAlbum.com for your client to approve/approve.

Mosaic Album –Using our layouts from Layout Creator

Using Layout Creator

Open Layout Creator (It can be download under customer log in and then click on Download Software)
Choose your layout under the Sizes button or in the Sizes Palette
Drag and drop in your images into the layout, crop if you need to.
Choose your options for that layout under the Options button or in the Options Palette
Once the page is how you would like it, click Add to Order.
If you’re ordering a design with a cameo, be sure to order the appropriate ratio.
Continue until you are done working for that session.
Click Review Order and Complete order. Send the pages to the lab

Once we receive the pages we will send you an email that we received the pages and another when we have posted it to Album Manager. The Event will then get an order number. You will need this number for future page uploads to this event.

Uploading additional pages

Open Layout Creator
Choose your layout under the Sizes button or in the Sizes Palette
Drag and drop in your images into the layout, crop if you need to.
Choose your options for that layout under the Options button or in the Options Palette
Once the page is how you would like it, click Add to Order.
Continue until you are done working for that session.
Click Review Order
On the review order screen under the option Add pages to Existing Event type in the original event order number. If you do not know what it is Log in to Album Manager and you can get the order number there. (Any error in this number will cause your upload to be delayed)

Album Manger

Once you receive your email that the event has been posted you may set up your event.

Then click Album Set Up beside the event
Give the album a name, date and password (password is only needed if you are posting to ApproveMyAlbum.com)

Under Album Set Up click Add Album or Book. (This is below the Event Information)
Select the Album Type: Mosaic
Select the Book or Album Size
Select the cover information
Continue until the cover is added

View Images

In Album Manager click on Album Set Up
Click Post Album or Book
Follow the steps to post the album
Note: Your Credit card will not be charged until the order is released.
The album is then posted to www.ApproveMyAlbum.com for your client to approve.

Note: If you do not want your client to approve the album you will need to remove the password from the Album Set Up page.
